To create this charcoal drawing, I first measured out the placement of each object by measuring the distance from the edge of each object on the printed picture of it first. After drawing out each object, I started creating shades and outlines using vinyl charcoal which has a grayish tone then used compressed charcoal to create the dark background and shadow. Afterwards, I blended the shades together using my fingers and sometimes paper towel. I used kneaded eraser to lighten up some areas and used the white eraser to make the lighted parts white then added more shading detail and sprayed it down. I think I can improve a bit more on the shadow of the object and the realism of it but I think I did pretty well with the blending and just the lines between each object.
